Posture assessment
Before & after results.
Selected readings recorded at baseline in November 2025 and follow-up in July 2026. The change column shows the absolute degree difference for right/left or paired views, as applicable. “Lower” and “higher” describe the numbers only, not whether a reading is clinically better or worse.

Lower recorded angles
Head shift, pelvic tilt, foot rotation, back-view knee/foot readings, and front-view trunk/pelvic readings were numerically lower at follow-up. This highlights change in the assessment, but a lower angle alone does not prove a functional or clinical improvement.
Higher recorded angles
Side-view shoulder angles increased by 5° on each side. The left knee angle increased by 4° in both recorded views. These are changes to note, not outcomes to label as harm or benefit without clinical interpretation.
What this says about kickboxing performance
The posture readings do not measure kickboxing performance, and they cannot show that these changes improved Darren’s balance, speed, power, kicking or punching technique, endurance, or injury risk. We can’t link the measured differences causally to his sporting performance. Separately, Darren reports that HBOT had the most tangible effect on his recovery and energy; that is his personal account, not proof that posture changes or HBOT caused a performance gain.
Context matters. Some readings moved closer to neutral and some increased. These individual posture measurements do not diagnose a condition, explain what caused a change, or represent a typical or guaranteed outcome. The reports continued to flag forward-head and rounded-shoulder posture, genu varum and ankle valgus, and recommended physiotherapy and orthopaedic review for the ankle finding. Hope House Recovery does not diagnose or provide physiotherapy.
